Snow Globe
Baby Girl,
You are maturing beautifully and I’m so incredibly proud of you! When you were immature and unaware of your position in our Kingdom and the enemy would shake you, you ran out to the world anxiously grasping at people to hear about your troubles and comfort your wildly beating heart. You relied on their words to comfort and sustain you and you found those words always fell short.
You longed for someone to hear your anxious cries and to rescue you. You longed for someone to hear what was said about you and defend you. You longed for someone to make it better. You longed for someone to make you FEEL better. You longed for someone to make YOU better. You often came up discouraged and defeated because you were looking to people to provide what only I can.
Your life has become the most exquisite snow globe on the enemy’s shelf! When he picks you up and shakes you, hoping to distress you as he used to, he finds you firmly planted on your knees in surrender with an unshakable faith, indestructible peace, and an unearthly, contented, and grounded joy. It is evident that you now KNOW without a doubt who you are and who he is.
You are the most precious soul as you embody your eternal nature of LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. As you have put away your old reflexive nature, your new nature shines. In the face of adversity, you become still, filling the atmosphere with songs of worship and praise, while the ashes of the fire the enemy meant to destroy you fall on you as blessing, honor, and provision. The HARDER he shakes you, the more evidence you will experience of My Presence as you remain humbly on your knees before Me.
When he used to wind you up to hear you sing, he heard the melody of fear, anxiety, resentment, and hopelessness. It was music to his ears! When he winds you up these days, all he hears is:
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY,
WHO WAS AND IS AND IS TO COME,
HALLOWED BY YOUR NAME!
YOUR KINGDOM COME,
YOUR WILL BE DONE,
ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
HE HATES IT. He hates you and that’s okay because he has no power to harm you. Everything he intends for evil, you and I are able to turn for good.
Remember that the enemy can shake you all day long but that is all he has the power to do. He was stripped of his authority when My Son defeated hell and the grave on the cross. Someday, you will be free from that globe but until then, continue to shine, Little One. It’s only a matter of time before the enemy will be imprisoned and you will be set free.
