Twisted Testimony

WELCOME TO THE ARENA!
I’m chuckling… not because what’s happening is funny but because the enemy thinks he’s gaining traction on your account and at the expense of your testimony. It’s time for you to start exercising one of your greatest assets: the ability to laugh in the face of opposition.
From this day forward, unless you bow to the authority of the enemy, you will face opposition. Expect it and fortify your soul so the adversary cannot make it past the gateway of your mind.
It is more important now than ever that you guard your heart because it is the wellspring of life and from it flows every word you speak. Your tongue holds the power of life and death and because of the influence I am giving you in your community and in this world, the words you speak need to be anointed that they would bring life and not death.
The enemy is taking the life-giving words of hope and truth when you share your testimony and twisting them in the minds and hearts of those who are desperately listening, wanting a little taste of the peace, joy, and freedom they can now sense is leading you. You spent the majority of your life doing the same.
You looked for people you believed knew something you didn’t. You watched their lives and listened intently to their words. You wrote their words down and meditated on them, willing yourself to make their truth your own. Many times, you misinterpreted and misapplied their message and became discouraged. That is what’s happening with people who are misinterpreting and misapplying your message now. DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY.
Keep in mind - it is for lack of knowledge that My people perish.
With every opportunity you are afforded to speak, whether to an individual in the church lobby or on a stage in front of thousands, invite Me to anoint your words. Pray that they would come directly from My Spirit to yours before floating into your mind and flowing out of your mouth. THIS IS IMPERATIVE. You have free will which means that, unless I’m directly invited into any conversation, I would be breaking covenant to insert Myself into that discussion.
I MUST be invited to EACH conversation. You can’t pray one blanket prayer to cover My participation in your entire life. My involvement in your life requires a day-by-day, moment-by-moment invitation to participate. I promise that when I am invited to speak through you, I will NEVER mislead or misinform anyone.
When the words you speak mislead or misinform people, that is a clear indication that you were speaking from your soul rather than your spirit. When you speak your own words on your own authority, the natural consequences of those words belong to you. If you speak words of judgment over someone, you will be judged to the same measure.
If, through you, I speak those same words by My authority, they will carry conviction, not judgment. If, through your mouth, someone experiences My conviction but calls it judgment, you cannot be concerned with how that makes them perceive you. You are not being judgmental. You are simply being obedient to speak My Truth in LOVE.
Speak the words I call you to speak and keep walking without looking back or replaying the conversation. Sometimes, you won’t even recall having certain conversations because it was My Spirit bypassing your mind to speak directly to another soul. When you can’t recall a conversation, it is usually because what was said was none of your business. You were simply being a conduit through which I could speak. When you surrender your life and will, you become a willing vessel through which I can conduct My business here on earth.
As you begin living a life that is above reproach, unconcerned with the opinions of others, be prepared to hear labels applied to you, such as: self-righteous, judgmental, prideful, arrogant, and even narcissistic. You have already been accused of being unwilling to listen to rational, logical people who are trying to talk sense into you.
You and I both know that My ways don’t always make sense to the natural mind. The logic in My ways is primarily perceived through spiritual eyes. Others will not fully be aware of what I am doing in and through you. You MUST be willing to stand alone.
Hold tight to what you know to be true. You are not self-righteous, judgmental, prideful, arrogant, or narcissistic. If you hear any of those words spoken out loud or in your soul, that is the enemy working to plant seeds of doubt. Cancel those words. The truth is that you are firmly established on the immovable Rock of Jesus Christ and the unchangeable Truth of My Word, The Bible. I don’t change like shifting shadows and My Truth does not bend to accommodate the tides of change in culture - neither should you.
When you feel yourself wanting to be discouraged or feeling the weight of the enemy’s army against you, pray for the eyes of Elisha that, with spiritual eyes, you would be aware that the army against you pales in comparison to the angel army that is fighting for you.
You are not alone - not by a long shot! Stand firm.
