Unoffendable
Baby Girl,
People have been telling Me about you. Don’t worry - it’s all good. You’ve got lots of people who love you and they tell me how encouraged they are by what you share. I’ve been told you’re telling anyone who will listen that I’ll adopt them. Obviously, you know your Daddy’s heart.
I’ve heard you telling friends that when they confess their sins to Me, I literally forget them. That’s true. Baby, you know I do that for My own benefit, not just theirs, right? I have NO desire to keep records of how messy people have wronged Me and you shouldn’t either. Now, I know it’s a lot to ask because you don’t have the ability to literally forget how you’ve been hurt but, when you pull it back up into your mind, you hurt yourself ALL over again. Maybe you can’t forget but you can refuse to let the memory steal your peace and joy!
You have spent A LOT of time perfecting the appearance of being unaffected by the harmful words and actions others have allowed to spill out on you from hurting places in their own souls. I’m not interested in whether you appear to be affected because you are. Those places in your heart you work so hard to pretend are not there are affecting how you show up with those you have been hurt by AND those who could potentially hurt you… which, as you know, is everyone.
I don’t want you to just appear unoffendable but to BE unoffendable. To be unoffendable, you are to walk in a manner worthy of My Name. Speak to others in a manner worthy of My Name. Think about others in a manner worthy of the calling to lay down your life, pick up your cross, and follow Me.
IF you are living and loving in a manner worthy of My Name, ANYTHING that is said about you or done to you was done to Me and I will take care of it. Don’t long for Me to avenge you because that comes from a place of resentment. Long for Me to bless them and leave the justice up to Me.
It's hard. You’re weak. I’m strong. Give it to Me.
Daddy
