Remember Who You Are
THEREFORE, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATION; OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Baby Girl,
Remember who you are today and live into that. If the enemy makes any subtle or blatant suggestion that disagrees with who you are, tell him with the AUTHORITY OF HEAVEN BACKING YOU where to go and remind him who you are and Whose you are.
You are a daughter of the Most High King, Maker of the Heavens and the Earth, and Ruler of All. You ARE LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
As LOVE, you are patient, kind, long-suffering, you don’t envy or boast, you keep no records of wrongs. You are not rude, self-seeking, or easily provoked to anger. You don’t delight in evil but rejoice in the truth. You ALWAYS protect, ALWAYS hope, ALWAYS persevere, and you will never fail.
You have nothing that binds you because who the Son set free IS free. You ARE free, not “you will be.” Live like it, My precious child.
You are healed and whole because by My Son’s stripes, you were healed! Hear Me close. I didn’t say, “You will be healed,” I said, “You ARE.” You can thank Me now that you are healed and whole and walk as though you can see it, even if you can’t see it yet. My plans and My will for your life are good.
Remember that when, not if, the enemy comes against your mind, or even when people come against you, it is not you they are coming against but the Greater One who is in you. They are coming against Me, and I promise, Child, their plans will NOT prevail.
You have all the power and authority of heaven backing you as you walk with My Spirit residing in you. NOTHING can come against you that My Son has not already, in the future, overcome. Jesus knows what you need and, before you even think to ask, He’s already working out His plan.
As you live by My Spirit, you are to walk by My Spirit, which means that as you live your life in faith, you are to walk practicing being led. My Spirit will NEVER push, pull, or drag you into obedience. If you let Him, He will get out in front of you and make you an offer, “You can come this way if you want.” I gave you free will. Following is your decision.
THAT is who you are! Remember that today. You are not an addict, a codependent, a person controlled by eating disorders, or a number on a scale. You are not angry, resentful, depressed, or broken. You are NONE of the things the world would tell you that you are when you have been made new in Christ.
Those are the things the enemy would have you believe because, in the end, he is seeking to destroy you. DON’T LET HIM.
