God is always speaking.
Do you hear Him?
Our Heavenly Father faithfully guides, encourages, and corrects me in my daily life. He speaks to me so tenderly through inward conversations that are journaled as letters. (Read the story behind how these letters started.)
These letters are not intended for me alone but are to be shared with my sisters in the body of Christ.
Romans 8 promises us that God speaks to each one of His children through the Holy Spirit bearing witness with our spirit. As you go through these letters, I pray that you will learn to recognize how God is speaking to you about your life throughout your day.
Who is God?
Don’t be discouraged when people accuse you of saying they are going to hell if they don’t believe what you believe. You’re correct in your defense that you have NEVER said that, and they are correct when they say that you have.
This conversation is a sober one and I want you to listen with your spirit because your mind is going to try to reason, argue, defend, deny, and debate what I am about to say.
The Enemy’s Target Practice
We’ve GOT to talk and, by that, I mean I’ve got some things to say and I need you to sit up straight and listen. Last time we talked, I warned you that they were coming. I cautioned you to remain standing and to leave all the armor I gave you firmly in place. (Ephesians 6:10-18) You took My words lightly, laid your armor aside, and became target practice for our adversary.
Remember Who You Are
Remember who you are today and live into that. If the enemy makes any subtle or blatant suggestion that disagrees with who you are, tell him with the AUTHORITY OF HEAVEN BACKING YOU where to go and remind him who you are and Whose you are.
You are a daughter of the Most High King, Maker of the Heavens and the Earth, and Ruler of All. You ARE love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
Spiritual Battle
You are fully equipped, and they are coming for you! It’s time to SUIT UP and SHOW UP.
Put on ALL the armor I’ve provided you. STAND firm and don’t be rattled! WHEN, not IF, you grow weary, DON’T SIT DOWN, the victory is ours!
Keep the belt of truth buckled around your waist. You and I are the only two who will truly know your heart and intentions...
Introduction
God encourages, corrects, and guides me so tenderly through inward conversations that come out in the form of letters. In these letters, He addresses me as His Baby Girl and signs them simply and lovingly, Daddy.
These letters are not intended for me alone but are to be shared with my sisters in the body of Christ. My hope in sharing them is that you learn to recognize the internal conversations the Holy Spirit is having with you as well.
